WHO WE ARE
Steven Fitzgerald is the Chief Executive Officer of the FireStorm Group, an eclectic collection of enterprises spanning human capital consulting, art, and real estate. Professionally, he consults to enterprises on the topic of talent management, focused on the development of critical talent, executive succession, creativity, culture & change, M&A integration, and human capital strategy. He has conducted business across the globe, having visited over 50 countries in his travels. He thrives when faced with the hard-to-solve people problem.
The foundation for Steve’s practice is an executive career spanned 30+ years, where he held the top HR/Talent position at firms including Bridgewater Associates, Visteon, Vail Resorts, and Fairlane Credit. He also held executive roles at Silicon Valley outfits such as Sun Microsystems and Avaya. Steve credits his early years at Ford Motor Company (after coming out of graduate school at Michigan State) as being foundational in building early mental maps for the systematic development of talent in a 100+ year old enterprise.
Today, Steve splits his time between various ventures. He is also the owner and principal artist of FireStorm Clayworks, an award-winning art pottery focused on hand-thrown, raku-fired pieces. You can see his artwork here.

Sean Fitzgerald is a Partner of the Firestorm Group. He brings over a decade in human capital consulting, working with firms to develop and implement modern, skills-based, and change-ready people strategy. Sean works closely with organizations to meet the future of talent engagement, capability, and productivity head on. He specializes in developing innovative solutions based on proven methods and has delivered for firms across a variety of sectors including High-Tech, Crypto, Defense, and Telecom.
